Starstruck

IT’S OFFICIALLY SPRING! Oh-my-god, I am super-duper excited that we have said goodbye to the long winter and finally put away our winter parkas. Have you guys started planning your spring outfits? Every spring/summer, I stay within my comfort zone which pretty much consists of neutral colors and sweaters. To continue in my effort of getting out of my comfort zone, I’ve selected a few pieces from Baukjen’s SS18 collection to ramp up my outfit game for spring.

Starstruck

I am saying YES to all thing star printed! These fun Baukjen star printed tops are so fun to pair with plain jeans and trousers. They also work with formal office outfits that make going to work that much more fun. The white star printed shirt seriously stole my heart at first sight! I am also thinking of pairing it with pleated skirt and some sock boots – such a brunch-ready outfit!

Baukjen clothing sizing

I’ve worked with the lovely ladies over at Baukjen for a few seasons now (they are really the sweetest bunch of London gals), and have familiarized myself with their sizing. I am usually a size 0 for tops and size 25 for bottoms. For Baukjen’s tops, I go for UK8 (US4) – this fits a tad loose and just enough to cover any food babies that results from eating too many donuts on weekends. For bottoms, I also go for size UK8 (US4). I have a wider hip for my body frame so this size works perfectly for me. If you are vertically challenged like me (i.e. short), you will find Baukjen’s tops longer. The length of their tees usually covers most of my bum. When wearing with jeans, I tuck the top in. I also wear their tops with leggings to run errands after work. VERSATILITY! One of the few good things about being short, haha!

Lovely neutrals dear! My fave would be the first outfit, so simple, yet really classy and edgy. The 2nd looks fun too, especially the star-printed top.
